Antminer Z15 Overview

The Antminer Z15 consolidated ASIC dominance over Equihash. At 420 ksol/s for 1,510 W it delivers roughly three times the Z11’s output for only marginally more power, cutting efficiency from ~10.5 J/ksol to ~3.6 J/ksol. Consequently it became the only serious answer for mining ZEC. Moreover, its real argument is competitive rather than technical: Equihash is a far smaller field than SHA-256, so the same machine represents a far larger share of the network.
